Product Review: Sager NP8662 Laptop

Basics:

This is a powerful gaming laptop in a small package, it can play all of the available games with relatively good performance, however I don’t recommend because this laptop doesn’t have the quality that it’s sellers claim it has.

While the performace of this laptop will surprise you, it has a lot of shortcommings such as low quality keyboard, very short battery life and a low quality display.

The other problem is Windows Vista that despite a quad core CPU and 4GB of RAM, is getting slower every day.

Tech Specs:

While you can customize yours when you order but the one that I’m reviewing has:
CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q9000
RAM: 4DB
HDD: Seagate 500GB
GFX: GeForce GTX 260M

Benchmarks:

Here are some of the benchmarks:

Windows Experience Index: 5.7

3D Mark 06: 9606

Pros:

1 – Great performance

Cons:

1 – Expensive
2 – Low quality built, it is not as well made as HP, Vaio and Dell
3 – Low quality keyboard

Final Thoughts:

I wouldn’t recommend this laptop, and I think it’s not worth the money, I wouldn’t recommend Sager laptops in general.
